Dehydration can be a serious risk to a dog’s health; symptoms may include lack of energy, depression, dry gums and tongue, and sunken eyes. In cases of severe or prolonged dehydration, additional symptoms like vomiting, diarrhea, fever, or an inability to urinate may occur. Prolonged or severe dehydration can lead to irreparable organ damage, even death. It’s important to make sure that your dog has access to plenty of clean water at all times. When any of the above symptoms arise, or if you are concerned about the amount of water your pup is drinking, it is a good idea to contact your veterinarian. Here at Dogs For The Earth, we make sure to offer products that not only are nutritiously balanced with high-quality ingredients, but also delicious enough to help keep your pup's hydration up.
